Eliot

No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be
Am an attendant lord, one that will do
To swell a progress, start a scene or two,
Advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool,
Deferential, glad to be of use,
Politic, cautious, and meticulous;
Full of high sentence, but a bit obtuse;
At times, indeed, almost ridiculous --
Almost, at times, the Fool.

I read through The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock again today. I like it much more now.

Madison and Katie invited me to eat dinner with them last night. They bought a taco kit at Dunnes. It's kind of funny--in the box are tortillas, salsa, and a spice mix. They bought onions, peppers, and chicken. And then I cooked it all for them. They said they are terrible at cooking meat. Fine with me. I enjoy it. It was actually really good. But they had a little dilemma about about how to warm the tortillas. First it was going to be in the microwave, but the box didn't say anything about putting a wet cloth in with it. Then it was in the oven, but none of us have any foil. Then it was just don't warm them at all. Then I said I would do that too. In a pan. Quickly. I'm glad that I can cook for myself.
