Two More Months!

So it's April. And it's beautiful outside. There are tons of trees with either white or pink flowers. Mostly sunny skies, but ALWAYS a chance of rain.

Anyway. I got into a fight with a wine bottle last night. I totally won, but I have some wounds. Like, I don't understand why they have to make wine so hard to get to. Beer is simple--all you need is a table or window sill or desk, keys, lighter, or if you are fancy you can use a real bottle opener. Hard A is simple: twist. But wine is pretentious. If you aren't crafty enough to get the fuckin super strength foil off just enough to twist the cap off--yeah it wasn't even a cork, that's whole different rant--then you don't deserve to drink it. I handled it though. Because girls are resourceful. It did take 20 something minutes though.

Normally I don't feel bad about procrastinating. Like it's not some moral dilemma I dwell on. But, right now I feel a little bit bad because I'm procrastinating a group thing. In the Soc tutorial we have "Discussion Leader" days where a group reads an article, analyzes the article, writes some shit, makes a powerpoint about it, and presents it to the rest of the tutorial. My group is last, and we present tomorrow. It's going to be grand, but we suck at communication--partly because the guy that took all our email addresses the first day never showed up again, and partly because the new guy that has all our email addresses does everything last minute. So anyway the point of this is that I'm making the powerpoint. We're all supposed to do it together, but none of the other members of my group are around this weekend. I'm kind of okay with it though because I can get slightly OCD about presentations and now I can just do it the way I want to.

Windows don't have screens here. It's actually really nice until you get bees or a spider or something. And Louise was telling me the other day that she's had birds fly into her house on multiple occasions.

Okay last night I also spilled water on my keyboard and it's okay for the most part now, but sometimes it's like the left arrow key is stuck. Before it was the right Shift key that was stuck so I didn't have any numbers and everything was capitalized. But I'm just hoping it dries out fully soon, otherwise I'll be back to using the school computers for everything I need to type and that sucks.
