Crazy. Everything worked out today. My panic attack last night was all for nothing. But that's a good thing. So, tonight I'm spending the night in the Dublin airport, tomorrow flying off to Madrid, Saturday going to Toledo! I'm really excited now that I have nothing to worry about. I don't think I'm going to take my laptop with me this time 'cause the website for the hostel says free internet access.
I was all over campus today 'cause I had yet another registration problem. I'm signed up for the wrong poetry class--A instead of B. It shouldn't have been such a hassle, but they weren't happy with the Executive Director of the English department's signature, it had to be the real head of the department. But that wasn't really true either. I got the international coordinator to sign this stupid paper and they were satisfied. It was dumb. They didn't charge me though, so I'm satisfied.
The executive director was talking to me about the weather though. She said it's pretty mild--usually it's cold. I think it's really cold. She also said they had snow up to their knees this time last year. I hope it's not bad after break.
Modernism over. Poetry over. Only class that may still be going on is Irish. I haven't heard anything about it though.
I bought the Mumford and Sons CD on iTunes. I'm seriously obsessed with it right now. I'm probably going to listen to it until I'm sick of it.
My excitement for you is just outweighing my jealousy, Lynds. Let us know how you like Madrid! You're still meeting Julian?
ReplyDeleteMumford and Sons are so good! Bret got me obsessed.
I know Whit. I keep thinking of you. Do you have any requests? If anyone is getting something from me from here it´s you haha But yeah Julian met me at the airport and we´re going to Plaza Mayor in a few minutes.
ReplyDeleteOkay. I had that CD on repeat the whole time I was at the airport and the whole time I was on the plane. About 9 hours.
