So cool. I took tons of pictures. I shall post them as soon as I get back on Monday.
I ate mazapan and quail. It was really good. El Greco´s fake casa. Saw lots of churchy things--cathedrals and mosques and monasteries. It was a very peaceful day in Toledo. I would love to go back with more time. I would buy a copy of Don Quixote from there. I didn´t realize that Toledo was the big city in that book. We didn´t come across any bookstores though, so oh well. Tomorrow it´s a goal though--finding a used copy somewhere. That´ll be my souvenir for myself.
When we got back here we had an issue with finding a place to eat...I decided to leave everything of mine in the hostel and that included my map. I didn´t think I would really need it, but apparently, we did. It turned out alright though. We got to this place at a little after 11 and left at 12:30. It was crazy to me that they were even open that late.
Tomorrow is museum/gift shopping/parque day. We´re meeting up with Sophia--Brian´s cousin who is from here--sometime too.
Oh yeah. I spoke some Spanish today and people knew what I was saying. It was fun. The less I think about it, the better it is.
